Quest 88 has over 25 years of experience in the design,
manufacture and sourcing of activity based therapy products for
children and adults. Quest 88 began manufacturing tricycles for
children with Cerebral Palsy in 1991 and have developed and
introduced additional products and accessories as we have
evolved.
Our staff are highly trained and we retain competent clinicians
as consultants to ensure that our products do not compromise
posture and therapy programs. We are a national company. We offer
assessments and demonstrations across the UK via our own product
specialists, either at home, school, child development units or
activity centres. You can also visit our factory base in Shropshire
for assessments.
Quest 88 has a broad range of cycles to choose from, however, we
choose our products carefully, ensuring that we can provide
the highest standard of service which includes the speed at
which we can deliver and ongoing availability of spares. If we do
not stock something suitable then we have no issues in
signposting you to an organisation or company that can help
you.
The Quest 88 range of cycles and tricycles enable children and
adults with many different levels of physical and cognitive ability
to participate in cycling alongside their peers, promoting fitness,
fun and inclusion.
Cycling for children with disabilities
Cycling is one of those defining childhood experiences. The
first word, the first step, first day at school, the first bike
ride; children with disabilities shouldn't be excluded from this
important rite of passage.
At Quest 88, we can't begin to understand what it means to
children and their parents, the first time they pedal or steer
independently. However, we do get a glimpse and a glimpse is just
enough to drive us on to make cycling more accessible and more
inclusive.
Group cycling
A successful inclusive cycling project is a marriage of vision,
dedication, the right equipment and removing the word "can't" from
your vocabulary. We at Quest 88 are passionate about inclusive
cycling and through understanding and design, we deliver cycles and
tricycles that are flexible, durable and cater for a wide range of
abilities.
