Lotse (Tandem Bicycle)

The Lotse is a tandem bicycle for people of all ages who want to share the cycling experience. The rider at the rear of the bicycle is in control of the vehicle but can engage the front pedalling system to enable the front rider to participate in moving the bicycle.

The Lotse is steered from the rear with the front rider sitting below the eye line of the rear rider. This makes the Lotse is an ideal choice for parents and carers in charge of children with visual or hearing impairment.

This tandem bicycle has a low threshold for both riders and has a rugged and twist resistant frame. As with many of the vehicles described in this brochure, the Lotse can be adapted with different supports and accessories.

The Lotse has a combined max user weight (rider & passenger)of 175Kg, the rider weight ratio must be no more than 2:1 rear to front.
