QUEST 88 TO LAUNCH NEW
PRODUCTS AND OFFER 10% DISCOUNT AT THE MOBILITY
ROADSHOW
Quest 88 will be making its Mobility Roadshow debut at the 2011
event (30th June - 2nd July) being held at the East of England
Showground, Peterborough and to celebrate this it will be launching
two new products on stand OS7/8 and offering a special show
discount of 10% on orders placed during the event.
During the Mobility Roadshow Quest 88 will be exhibiting the
next generation of its children's tricycles alongside the Loader, a
new addition to the Draisin cycle range which has been thoughtfully
designed to enable power wheelchair users, particularly those who
have customised seats, to go cycling. Thanks to its generous
platform size all shapes and sizes of wheelchairs can access the
bike. The Loader is extremely stable and yet surprisingly easy to
pedal and steer given its size and function, with manual and
electrically assisted drives available as well as a rider canopy.
The Draisin Loader has been carefully designed and tested to give
the rider and passenger ultimate confidence and security.
The Cheetah is Quest 88's new sports side by side recumbent.
Built with thin wall stainless steel technology, the cheetah weighs
in at only 35Kg and steering is operated by a central lever with
each side having its own adjustable seat and drive setup with
several gearing options available from 7 speed gear hubs to 24
speed cassettes. The Cheetah is designed for able bodied and
disabled riders alike and is the cycle being used by the Quest 88
team participating in the Ride Side By Side event in 2012. This
ambitious 12 day ride from John O'Groats to Lands End aims to raise
£1,000,000 for chosen charities Caudwell House and Help for Heroes,
and will commence on April 14th 2012.
