Quest 88 Colt / Carousel

The Colt and Carousel are our most popular fixed wheel tricycles and combines just the right mix of: frame weight (for safety); positioining that promotes good posture; and gearing which delivers meaningful exercise.

The Colt and Carousel are suitable for children from approximately 4 to 7 years of age (ages based on clothing sizes).

The Colt and Carousel are fixed drive tricycles. In simple terms this means that as the pedals rotate the drive wheel rotates and visa-versa. This creates added momentum which assists pedalling and is beneficial to children with low muscle tone and strength; ideal for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Accessories include: hip and thoracic supports, footplate (sandals), ankle foot orthoses, chest pad, steering solutions, various handlebar styles and head pad.

The key datum points on Quest 88 tricycles are critical and give the rider the ability to maintain a good posture and an efficient pedalling action. Quest 88 tricycles can be separated into 3 parts for storage and transportation.

The maximum weight limit for the Colt and Carousel is 45Kg. The tricycle in its basic form weighs 28Kg (10kg front end, 18kg rear). Additional accessories will increase the weight of the tricycle.

The Colt is available is several colours, the Carousel is available in Purple or Pink. Both can be accessorised with our fun range of wheel covers.
